How do I add a "View in your garden" AR button to my product pages?
Send us your drawings, assembly manuals and product photos. We build a true-scale 3D model of every size, finish and option you sell, you sign off the dimensions, and your web developer adds the button to your product pages with two lines of code, on Shopify or any other site. Shoppers tap "View in your garden" and stand the building on their own lawn at full size.
What does AR mean?
Augmented reality. The phone's camera shows the garden in front of you, with a 3D model placed in it at true size. Here, a shopper points their phone at the lawn and sees your building standing there, then walks round it and looks inside. It's the same idea furniture shops use to show a sofa in your room.
Do shoppers need to download an app?
No. The button opens the augmented reality (AR) viewer built into the phone: AR Quick Look on iPhone and Google's Scene Viewer on Android. On a computer it shows a QR code that opens the same product, with the same options chosen, on the shopper's phone.
Which garden buildings can you model?
Saunas, hot tubs and cold plunges, greenhouses, log cabins, garden offices, garden rooms and pergolas. The demos on this page show most of them. We model every size, finish and option you sell, and the viewer only offers the options sold with each size.
How accurate are the models?
Each model is built from your drawings and checked against them, aiming for within 20 mm of every published figure. Before anything goes live, your team approves a dimension sign-off sheet for every model, and we correct anything that doesn't match until you sign it off.
Will it work on my retailers' websites too?
Yes. Your web developer adds it to your own shop with two lines of code, and any retailer you approve can show the same button by pasting the same two lines. That's included. Retailers whose sites can't run it can have the model files instead, where their platform accepts 3D.
How long does it take?
Usually about two weeks from your drawings to live pages. Our own software makes every size and option in one go, and a change to your range updates them all together. Most of the time is on your side: checking the dimension sheet, then your web developer adding the two lines.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many products and sizes you sell, so we quote after a short call. There's a fee to build the models, then a yearly fee to host them and keep them up to date. You start with a paid pilot: one product family, in all its sizes or just your best sellers, live on your product pages for 12 weeks. Then you decide whether to keep it and add the rest of the range.
